The good: The HTC Snap for Sprint offers robust e-mail support, including HTC's Inner Circle feature for prioritizing messages. The Windows Mobile smartphone also has EV-DO Rev. A support, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2-megapixel camera.

The bad: Sprint's version lacks Wi-Fi and dual-mode functionality. The smartphone has a plasticky feel, and the QWERTY keyboard is cramped.

The bottom line: The HTC Snap for Sprint offers snappy performance and good messaging features, but the smartphone's plastic build and lack of Wi-Fi don't justify the price.

The good: The Samsung Memoir has a handsome and slim design with a styling that makes it look like a camera. The TouchWiz interface makes navigation a breeze and we love that you can upload your photos directly to online sharing sites. The photo quality is top-notch, and the overall feature set is very impressive. It has great performance as well.

The bad: The Samsung Memoir lacks Wi-Fi, its Web browser is not the greatest, and the touch-screen interface takes some acclimation. You are limited to preloaded TouchWiz widgets.

The bottom line: If you don't mind the price, the Samsung Memoir lives up to its promise as a top-notch camera phone.

LG today announced the Levi’s special edition netbook Xnote Mini X120 in South Korea. Levi’s special edition netbook comes sketched with the Levi’s branding with similar specefications as the original model . The Xnote Mini X120 is powered by a 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU with a 10.1-inch LED backlit 1024×600 LCD display, a 160GB HDD, and 1GB RAM.

OS includes Windows XP and “Smart On” instant-boot Splashtop OS, with connectivity options like WiFi b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and a 6-cell battery. Starting from July 24th only 2,500 of the Levi’s Special Edition netbooks will be sold within 28 days only with no word on pricing as yet.

Project Hurricane Concept Phone, Designed by Liam Quinn, Now With Full Details

Remember the Hurricane concept phone? We teased the device a while ago and now its creator, Liam Quinn has revealed more details regarding the handset. Let us remind you that Liam is 14 years old and still he can envision a hot smartphone of the future.

The phone uses a magnetic sliding mechanism and built in hinge to detach the 3.7 inch 16:9 AMOLED screen and share content with friends.

Hurricane incorporates stereo speakers, TV out, a 3.5mm headphone jack and support for gesture control via the “3D Airspace” technology. The user will hold his hand above the device and raise it to increase the volume level or lower it to decrease the volume. Tracks will be skipped by waving the phone back and forth and you’ll pause songs simply by holding the hand over the phone for a few seconds.

Back to the specs, there’s a 2 megapixel videocall camera at the front, with Skype support and a 10 megapixel camera at the back with a transparent sliding lens cover, 3x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, plus a Xenon flash. As if those weren’t enough, smile shot, blink detection and anti shake are also on board.

Flickr and Facebook uploads are supported via a 3G, EDGE or WiFi connection and you should know that Hurricane uses a virtual QWERTY keyboard. The OS of choice is Symbian, with a cube UI to make navigation and media access easier and 3 home screens for favorite apps, that you’ll download from Android Marketplace (hmmm, strange… Symbian + Android Market).

Last comes the surprise of this device: it can run Windows 7 remotely, just by clicking the Windows icon on the keyboard, since it allows the user to have instant access to the personal computer, wherever that is. You’ll be able to read and store files, create new documents and play games on the handset.

Overall, Hurricane is a lovely device, with a promising design and a very impressive specifications list and we’re waiting for more great works from Liam Quinn.

The 12-inch E4200 is the lightest business laptop Dell has ever made, weighing only 2.2 pounds, while the 13.3-inch E4200 weighs 3.4 pounds. Dell has told us that the batteries on the usual laptops can last for up to 19 hours, which sounds to good to be true. This post is exciting for me to write,because it features one of my favorite sports car 'Ferrari'.Acer now has announced its Ferrari 1200 laptop.The design has been kept same as of the Ferrari 1000,with black LED display and carbon fiber.The specs are still not out but there is something still known about it.

It would have a 4GB of DDR2 memory,moreover it sports webcam and bluetooth based VoIP for internet telephony.The launches would be made exclusively first in the UK and US.

However,the price of it is unknown but still this one would get a lot of consumer traffic.
